FAQs
How long does a lift and tint last?
A lash lift lasts 6-8 weeks with the curl gradually reducing over that time whilst your lashes grow, shed and replace. You can have a top up tint after 4 weeks if you want to keep them dark but no sooner as we don’t want to over process the lashes.
How long is the appointment?
A lash lift and tint takes a little over an hour so allow 75mins for your appointment. It’s a relaxing treatment with eyes fully closed at all times so take advantage of being able to have a little siesta if you wish.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Make sure to arrive to your appointment with no mascara or makeup around the eyes and don’t use any oily products around the eyes the day of your appointment. These can cause a barrier for the lifting process so could affect the outcome of your treatment.
How do I look after my lash lift?
The first 24hours after your lash lift are the most important, be sure to keep lashes dry and free from products. Avoid steam from hot showers, saunas etc as this can cause the lashes to droop. After those 24hours have passed you can treat them as usual with no maintenance appointments required unlike lash extensions. Using a daily lash conditioner is recommended and is available in salon.
Are there different colour tints?
Yes, there are different colour tints available including black and brown if you’re wanting something more subtle but the most common tint for lashes is blue black as this adds an added depth to the colour really making those lashes pop. If you would rather keep your natural lash colour then of course we can leave the tinting step out and just perform the lift.
